Deep Dive Project (Quarters 1-3)Each Quarter, students complete a 2-hour "Deep Dive" project on a unique, pre-approved artist, culture, or movement from the current unit. To lock in a topic, students must submit a first-come, first-served proposal via CreativeSchmit.com (graded as "Prepare"). The final poster (graded as "Rehearse") must be submitted as a PDF or digital link (Ms. Schmit needs FULL edit privileges on the submission deadline or it doesn't count).

End of Year Deep Dive Project
(Basically a regular Deep Dive only more so)
Overview & Timeline
- Timeframe: You will use the remaining class time after the AP Exam to finish this project. Expect to spend an additional 4–6 hours on it.
- Due Dates: Check CreativeSchmit.com for the final deadlines. Everything must be presented before the last day of regular classes.
- This is an expanded version of a regular "deep dive" and requires three components:
- Written Piece: A 1–2 page research paper or creative writing piece. It must include historical information and citations or footnotes to verify your facts.
- Visual Aid: A standard project poster (or an approved alternative visual).
- Presentation: A brief presentation to the class.
